As a Behavior Specialist, You Will Participate in the development and implementation of Behavior Support PlansCollect and analyzing data on the effectiveness of Behavior Support PlansAdjust or revise support strategiesMonitor and train staff and caregivers on implementation strategiesSubmit required documentation to Behavior ConsultantsTravel as needed (20 - 50 mile radius) In order to be eligible for this role, you should have: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or any other related fieldsAt least 5 years of experience in a role involving the support of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities A valid driver's license, along with access to reliable transportationAbility to travel a 20-50 mile radius, as neededAvailability to work both day and weekend shiftsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to identify, develop and execute effective training methodsCompliance with background check requirements, as required by state laws Behavior Specialists must comply with state background screening requirements.
