Behavior Specialist

About the role

Futures Through Choices is hiring a Behavior Specialist to provide behavioral support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and other cognitive and physical disabilities in the Northern Region from Layton to Logan.

Responsibilities

• Conducting Functional Assessment Interviews
• Writing Behavior Support Plans
• Collecting and analyzing behavioral data
• Training program staff on the appropriate implementation of the behavior support plans
• Conducting regularly scheduled visits to the program sites to observe client behavior, gather behavioral data, and provide behavior-related consultation to support staff.

Requirements

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or another related field of study.

The individual who is chosen for the position will need to pass an in-depth background check.
