About the role

The May Institute is seeking a Behavior Specialist, Adult Services in Raynham, MA, to lead clinical excellence in residential and Day Habilitation programs for adults aged 22+ with autism. This role involves mentoring staff, shaping innovative programs, and collaborating with national experts.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the implementation of ABA services, showcasing leadership skills.
  • Develop and monitor behavior support plans and individualized treatment plans tailored to each adult's unique needs.
  • Compile data and create graphs to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and skill assessments.
  • Partner with families, guardians, and program teams to promote consistency across residential, Day Habilitation, and community settings.
  • Interact with dedicated staff by providing training, coaching, and ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field required.
  • Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and currently enrolled in a master’s program in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related BCBA-track program.

  • Remarkable problem-solving abilities with a knack for identifying and resolving challenges.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and compassion for adults with autism and developmental disabilities, as well as their families and support teams.
  • Strong foundational clinical skills, with the ability to support functional behavior assessments, behavior support plans, and evidence-based interventions under appropriate supervision.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to drive team success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

$63,000 - $85,000 annually
