About the role
The Behavior Interventionist is responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans for students with special needs in educational settings. This role requires a deep understanding of behavioral principles and strategies to support student success.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on data-driven decision-making
- Provide direct support to students to modify challenging behaviors and promote positive outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans
- Evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make adjustments as needed
- Participate in professional development activities related to behavior analysis and intervention

Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and knowledge of behavior analysis
- Valid teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months of hire
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 per year
