About the role
Laila’s Way is growing and we're seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to serve children aged 2.7-21 years old across the Philadelphia region. The role involves direct service provision in various settings such as homes, schools, and clinics.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to children and teens in clinics, homes, schools, and community settings.
- Help them thrive through tailored therapy sessions based on ABA principles and Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Teach important life and social skills in a positive, engaging manner within personalized programs.
- Collect and track behavior data to help shape therapy goals and ensure each child reaches their full potential.
- Collaborate with an experienced team to support caregivers and create a nurturing environment for growth.
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of experience working with children in a therapeutic setting.
- Must have proof of completion of the 40-hour RBT coursework.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must hold a PA Mandated Reporting Certificate.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- A valid PA Clearances, including PA State Police Criminal History (PATCH), PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprint – Federal Criminal History are required.
Qualifications
