About the role
The role involves providing direct care and support to children in a therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, implementing behavioral interventions, and collaborating with families and other professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions to support child development
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (behavioral health, psychology, etc.)
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working with children in a therapeutic setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Passing background check and drug screening
Skills
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
