Posted on August 3, 2026 The Watson Institute’s Behavioral Health Services department is hiring a casual Behavior Consultant for the Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program based out of Wexford, PA, to work a flexible schedule that may include weekend and evening hours. Employment Type: Temporary Location: Wexford, PA 2605 Nicholson Road, Suite 3240, Bldg. 3 | Sewickley, PA Casual BC Job Responsibilities Develop IBHS assessments with clients, families, and school staffDevelop functional behavior assessments (FBA) on clientsDevelop individual treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives as well as specific interventions to address needs from results of FBADevelop data collection protocolTrend and analyze dataSupervise BHT staff in behavior management proceduresConsult with families, school personnel, and other community members about interventions for challenging behaviors of clientsProvide clinical documentation of each session with clientDevelop materials to address clients’ needsOther duties as assigned Casual BC Job Requirements Have a graduate degree in ABA from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalencyMust be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, or certified registered nurse practitionerExperience working with children with autism and behavior problems required, at least three years’ experience preferredDemonstrated knowledge of behavior principles, evidenced by experience and educationExperience writing, implementing, and evaluating positive behavior support plansMost tasks require oral communication, visual and hearing perception, and the ability to get around the classrooms, cafeteria, gym, campus, etc.The ability to keep up with running children and/or to lift, position, or assist with lifting students is essential to perform this taskThe essential functions of this job described herein require the ability to exert moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving some combination of bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, kneeling, crouching and brisk walking, which may involve lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling objects and material of moderate weight (40 pounds)Ability to use the strategies of Comprehensive Crisis Management and Ukeru to physically support students for their safety and the safety of othersCurrent PA Acts 34, 114, and 151 clearances required Apply Now!
