Behavior Consultant

About the role

The role is responsible for providing behavior support services to children and families in a therapeutic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized behavior plans
  • Provide direct behavioral interventions to clients
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs
  • Train and supervise paraprofessionals and volunteers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Experience working with children and families in a therapeutic environment
  • Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral interventions
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • Pass a background check
  • Pass a drug screening test
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

$40 - $50 per hour based on experience
