Behavior and Academic Interventionist

About the role

The Behavior & Academic Intervention Teacher provides targeted academic and behavioral support to Franklin students needing additional intervention to successfully access the general education environment. This position is a .4 FTE which primarily works with students individually and in small groups to design and deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions based on identified student needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and school teams to analyze student data
• Design targeted instruction and behavioral supports
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on student response

Qualifications

• Skilled in building strong student relationships
• Proficient in providing explicit and responsive instruction
• Experience supporting students with a range of academic, behavioral, and self-regulation needs
• Special Education endorsement preferred
• Experience supporting students with intensive academic and behavioral needs preferred
