Your Role & Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans designed by a BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Support skill development in communication, social interaction, and daily living for clients.
- Adhere to RBT ethics and the BACB code of conduct while implementing therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with families and other team members to provide consistent and effective support for clients.
- Ensure a safe, supportive environment during sessions and follow all ethical guidelines and protocols.
- Accrue supervised fieldwork hours and receive mentorship tailored to your professional goals.
- Maintain your RBT credential in good standing and track supervised fieldwork hours.
Position Qualifications
- Active RBT certification or eligibility and willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in a related field of study.
- Currently enrolled in, accepted into, or completed a BACB-recognized master’s program in behavior analysis (ABAI Accredited, ABAI Recognized, or VCS) (required for accruing BCBA fieldwork hours).
- Compassion, patience, and genuine enthusiasm for helping children grow.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team setting.
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to pass a background and abuse registry check.
- Reliable transportation.
