Behavior Technician/RBT (Paid Training)

About the role

Vibrant ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy to children with autism in Queens, NY. This role offers the chance to make a direct impact in a child's life while receiving ongoing training, clinical support, and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in client homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Support skill development in communication, behavior, play, and daily living
• Collect accurate session data and document client progress
• Communicate regularly with supervisors, caregivers, and the clinical team
• Maintain a consistent and reliable therapy schedule
• Participate in training, feedback, and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Experience working with children preferred (ABA, childcare, education, paraprofessional work, psychology, healthcare, camp counseling, or related experience is a plus)
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working in home-based settings with families
• Strong communication and time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Able to travel locally to client homes throughout Queens
• After-school and/or weekend availability preferred

Qualifications

• RBT credential preferred, but not required to apply
