Responsibilities
- Delivers behavior-analytic services to children and adolescents.
- Provides supervision (in accordance with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board’s published guidelines) for one to three graduate students.
- Maintains regular communication with facility personnel and administrators.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of behavioral programming and data collection procedures.
- Meets weekly with the principal investigator and other ABSOPP behavior analysts.
- Participates in weekly or biweekly meetings with team members and facility personnel.
- Communicates recommendations to the team regarding the outcomes for each referred resident.
- Uses single-case designs to depict the effects of behavioral and pharmacological interventions.
- Retains behavioral data in an orderly manner.
- Contributes to special projects as requested, such as developing training videos, writing manuscript sections, and assisting with data acquisition.
- Attends professional development activities, including webinars, conferences, and workshops.
- Completes administrative duties, including daily recording of time allocation and monthly summaries for each active client.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or related field.
- One year of experience in development and delivery of behavior-analytic interventions.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) by Behavior Analysis Certification Board, Inc.
- Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) certification in Alabama or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
