Before and After School Group Leader

Location(s): Bixby School and Steen School

Pay: $17.00/hour
Hours: 7:00–8:30 am & 2:30–6:00 pm

About the role

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you’ll help shape meaningful before- and after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. Gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
