About the role
This role supports out-of-school time programs on school grounds as an Early Childhood Education Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers, modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
- Implement curriculum tailored to each child's needs, creating a safe, nurturing environment for learning and play.
- Partner with parents to ensure the best care and education, fostering positive relationships with families and community contacts.
- Collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
Qualifications
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements; preferred state trainer status.
- 2-3 years of early childhood education experience; Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and state-specific qualifications.
- Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds, engage in physical activity, and work indoors or outdoors.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with children and parents.
