Before/After School Student Worker 2026-2027 School Year

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with parents, staff and students.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Current QCUSD High School Student preferred.
• Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules.
• Excellent customer service and reliability.
• For those 18+: Must pass a background clearance and must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., be able to exert 25 -30 lbs. of force frequently, push, pull or otherwise move.
• Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, and to sit for long periods of time.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, sit and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to use hands and arms, stand, bend or stoop.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

17.50 hours per week - Monday-Friday 2:30 p.m.-6 p.m.

Hourly, Non-exempt

Performance Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and families.
• Learns all essential skills within a reasonable time span.
• Aids Site Lead and Site Aides with necessary tasks.
• Be willing to take initiative.
• Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.

Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position
