Before & After School Site Director/Early Learning Professional - Flexible Schedule for Educators

Pay: $23–$24 per hour

Schedule: 5:45 AM–9:00 AM and 3:00 PM–6:30 PM, part-time

About the role

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students beyond the school day. The Site Director role offers a part-time leadership opportunity to lead a meaningful before- and after-school program that helps children learn, grow, and thrive.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
• Oversee and facilitate curriculum implementation to meet program expectations
• Build a safe, inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
• Prioritize child safety and maintain compliance, documentation, and inspection readiness
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
• Supervise and mentor site staff, providing coaching, feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
• Represent AlphaBEST professionally at school and community events
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (required)
• Must be 21 years or older
• Child Development Associate Certification OR 12 credits in child-care courses or related field within a minimum of 48 total credits OR Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in child-care or related field
• At least one full year of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting (preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision (preferred)
• Ability to work in a large group setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
