Before & After-School Part-Time Site Team Lead

About the Role

As a Site Team Lead, you will ensure the implementation of positive youth development practices in all daily activities and interactions with children. You will assist in implementing curriculum, provide leadership and guidance to staff, and oversee the ordering and distribution of snacks, materials, and supplies needed to operate the program. You will also provide direct service when necessary to execute the program, with a commitment to meeting accreditation standards and extensive training in research-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program quality through curriculum implementation and staff guidance
• Oversee ordering and distribution of snacks, materials, and supplies
• Provide direct service to youth as needed
• Mentor staff and engage directly with youth
• Support the YMCA’s commitment to child abuse prevention by:
  • Reporting health or safety hazards to your supervisor
  • Following policies and procedures related to child safety
  • Monitoring and supervising children in facilities and programs
  • Reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations to your supervisor
  • Completing all required child abuse prevention training

Qualifications

• Age 19+ with experience in childcare, education, or youth leadership
• Strong communication skills and passion for youth development
• Ability to lead a team, coordinate programs, and support families

Pay

$19.25–$19.75 per hour
