Before/After School Group Leader No Weekends Ever

About the role

We're hiring for our Before- & After-School Programs! Join AlphaBEST Education on July 16 for on-the-spot interviews for: Site Directors, Group Leaders, and Assistant Group Leaders at Holaway Elementary School.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• 18+ years old and six months of verifiable childcare experience is preferred
• Must be registered (or become registered) and have full clearance from the AZ childcare licensing agency

Qualifications

• Students studying Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Recreation, or Youth Development are encouraged to apply
