Before & After School Group Leader/Early Learning Professional - College Students Encouraged to Apply
About the role
AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Keep the space clean and organized
- Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
- Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years old
- 16 hours towards child care trainings (Including CPR/First Aid)
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- 6 months of experience working with school-aged children

This Role Is Ideal For Students Studying Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Recreation or Youth Development
Benefits
Eligible new hires receive a $250 hiring bonus! Half when hired and half after successfully completing 6 months of employment and meeting applicable eligibility requirements.
Pay and Schedule
Pay: $15-$17, Schedule: Monday-Friday, Morning: 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM, Afternoon: 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM (Split shift - works around the school day)
