About the role

The Wine, Beer & Liquor Team Member plays a crucial role in ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service while supporting the department's daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional Guest Service through friendly, informed, and helpful interactions.
  • Stock and rotate product in all wine, beer, and liquor displays, coolers, and end caps.
  • Maintain backstock organization and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Ensure accurate signage, pricing, and promotional display execution.
  • Build, face, and maintain compelling displays that align with department goals.
  • Absorb inventory counts and communicate low or out-of-stock items to the Buyer or leadership team.
  • Support fellow Team Members by collaborating on tasks and sharing product knowledge.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department, including shelves, floors, and storage areas.
  • Follow all Plum Market policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • You have a passion for wine, beer, and liquor.
  • You have previous retail or customer service experience, though not required.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have a strong attention to detail and are self-directed.
  • You are able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • You have the physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
  • You are capable of bending, stooping, grasping objects, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and pushing/pulling carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Pay
