Beer Technician- Part Time

About the role

The Beer Technician is responsible for maintaining and managing the brewery’s brewing equipment and processes. This includes cleaning, inspecting, and troubleshooting machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate brewery equipment including fermenters, mash tuns, and other brewing systems.
• Perform daily checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Collaborate with the brewing team to troubleshoot issues and improve efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to quality control standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role or relevant field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using brewery equipment and tools.
• Good communication skills to interact with the brewing team and customers.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.

Skills

• Basic understanding of chemistry and microbiology related to brewing.
