Beer Technician

About the role

The Beer Technician is responsible for maintaining and managing the brewery’s brewing equipment, ensuring efficient production processes, and collaborating with the brewing team to optimize recipes and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate brewery equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
• Collaborate with the brewing team to develop and refine brewing recipes.
• Monitor and adjust fermentation temperatures and times to maintain consistent product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on brewing equipment to prevent downtime.
• Document all maintenance activities and report any issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of brewing equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using brewing software and equipment.
• Experience with quality control and assurance procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the brewing team.

• Technical proficiency with brewing equipment and systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot problems.

Pay

Salary range: $XX-$YY per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional weekend and evening shifts.
