We are looking for an Occupational Health Physician with a unique perspective on the business world and employee well-being. You are open to an entrepreneurial and challenging work environment. As an Occupational Health Physician, you will focus on general occupational medicine and health prevention. Our physicians have a genuine interest in clients and employees, ensuring tailored and personal service. You will collaborate closely with a team of occupational health physicians, reintegration advisors, and other health consultants.
Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations at our locations or client sites, ensuring regular on-site visits to stay familiar with the workplace and conditions.
- Perform Periodic Medical Examinations (PMOs) and various medical assessments, including offshore, soil remediation, asbestos, and maritime certifications, occasionally during evenings and weekends.
- Ensure timely verbal and written feedback to all involved parties.
- Monitor and promote employee health and well-being in relation to their work, in collaboration with employers and employees.
- Advise on managing absenteeism and improving work conditions.
- Maintain the quality of medical guidance in terms of content, internal agreements, and legal regulations.
Requirements
- BIG-registered Occupational Health Physician.
- Experience conducting consultations in healthcare, preferably in occupational health or with the UWV (Dutch Employee Insurance Agency).
- Experience independently performing PMOs, driver’s license assessments (including large vehicles), sports medical examinations, offshore certifications, soil remediation, asbestos, and maritime certifications, either at our locations or client sites.
- Excellent advisory skills and the ability to act as an independent consultant for both employers and employees.
- Demonstrable affinity with absenteeism guidance, prevention, and reintegration.
- Strong communication skills, customer focus, environmental awareness, analytical strength, and persuasiveness. You are a true team player.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
