Become an Advocate

ProKids works because of our volunteers who come from all walks of life. When you decide to become a CASA Volunteer, ProKids will provide all training at no cost to you. You don’t need to have any prior experience, as you will be supported by an Advocacy Team every step of the way.

About the role

Volunteers must be in or near Cincinnati, OH. ProKids provides all training at no cost and offers flexible scheduling options, including weekdays and weekends during daytime and evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Support children in foster care by advocating for their best interests in court proceedings
• Build relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders involved in the child’s case
• Collect and organize relevant information to present to the court
• Attend court hearings and advocate on behalf of the child

Requirements

• Driver’s License
• Background Check
• Attend Orientation

Qualifications

• Willingness to commit approximately 10 hours per month to the CASA Volunteer role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
