Status

Summary of the Position: Hourly, Part Time Advocate positions serving youth and families throughout Orange County (Ocoee and Waterford Lakes) are available.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
  • All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.

Availability

Non-Traditional Hours; Required to be available during afternoons/early evenings and weekends.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using an electronic health record system is a plus.
  • Non-traditional hours may be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a Plus.
