About the role
Responsible for managing foster care cases, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in their care.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and placing children in foster homes
- Maintaining regular contact with foster families and social workers
- Providing support and guidance to foster children and their families
- Ensuring compliance with state regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in child welfare or social services
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Pass a thorough background check
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
