Beauty Sales Consultant

Position Summary

We're looking for a passionate Beauty Sales Consultant to join our team at CVS Health. You'll be part of a growing retail pharmacy with over 9,000 stores, surrounded by colleagues who care deeply and innovate with purpose. Your role is to provide friendly, knowledgeable sales service to customers, share the latest beauty trends, and build lasting relationships.

Customer Sales Experience

• Engage in conversations to stimulate a different thought process
• Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs
• Use product knowledge to answer customer questions and close sales
• Follow up with customers to build relationships

Operational

• Explain how products help customers address their needs
• Leverage CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships
• Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked beauty zone
• Execute sanitation and waste disposal policies

Training & Personal Growth and Development

• Complete initial 30/60/90-day onboarding training
• Participate in ongoing training and educational programs
• Meet sales goals and track progress
• Attend sales training meetings and conference calls
• Compete with self to beat sales goals
• Maintain a professional appearance

Physical Requirements

• Stand and move throughout the store for most of the work time
• Perform duties requiring manual dexterity (e.g., ear piercing)
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and grasp objects

Qualifications

• Sales oriented
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Goal-driven and able to multi-task
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to work flexible schedules
• Willingness to perform ear-piercing services
• At least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Beauty Sales Experience
• Current knowledge of beauty products and brands
• Passion for beauty
• High school diploma or equivalent

Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $20.47 - $29.47. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
