Beauty Sales Consultant

Position Summary

We're looking for a passionate, sales-oriented Beauty Sales Consultant to join our team at CVS Health. As a primary beauty advisor, you'll provide personalized sales service, build strong relationships with customers, and help them find the right products for their needs.

Customer Sales Experience

• Engage with customers to ensure a fantastic experience
• Listen to and understand customer needs
• Provide specialized sales advice and answer product questions
• Use CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships
• Participate in and represent company sales programs or events
• Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked beauty zone
• Follow sanitation and waste disposal policies

Operational

• Explain how products help customers address their needs
• Discuss CVS Beauty Club programs and invite customers to events
• Close sales by explaining current promotions

Training & Personal Growth and Development

• Complete initial onboarding training and ongoing educational programs
• Meet sales and service goals
• Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls
• Compete with self to exceed sales goals
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques

Physical Requirements

• Stand and move throughout the store for most of the work time
• Perform duties requiring manual dexterity
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and grasp objects

Qualifications

• Sales oriented
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Goal-driven, able to multi-task
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to work flexible schedules
• Willingness to perform ear-piercing services (training provided)
• At least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Beauty Sales Experience
• Current knowledge of beauty products and brands
• Strong passion for beauty
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
