Beauty Sales Consultant

Position Summary

We're looking for a passionate Beauty Sales Consultant to join our retail beauty team at CVS Health. You'll be part of a growing retail pharmacy with over 9,000 stores. Your role is to provide personalized beauty advice and sales service to customers, helping them find the right products for their needs.

Customer Sales Experience

• Engage customers to ensure they have a fantastic experience
• Listen to and be sensitive to customer needs
• Provide specialized sales advice and answer product knowledge questions
• Use verbal skills to generate sales and educate customers on proper usage and benefits
• Participate in and represent company sales programs or events
• Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked beauty zone
• Execute sanitation and waste disposal policies

Operational

• Explain how various products help customers address their needs
• Leverage CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships
• Discuss CVS Beauty Club programs and invite customers to special events
• Explain current promotions to close the sale

Training & Personal Growth and Development

• Complete initial 30/60/90-day onboarding training
• Attend ongoing training/educational programs
• Meet sales and beauty service goals
• Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls
• Compete with self to beat sales goals and max out budget
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Stay updated on latest beauty trends and techniques
• Further product knowledge and client service skills

Physical Requirements

• Stand and/or move throughout the store for the majority of work time
• Stoop, kneel or crouch
• Reach or grasp objects, including those on lower shelves
• Perform duties requiring manual dexterity (e.g., ear piercing)

Qualifications

• Sales oriented
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Goal-driven, able to multi-task
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Available to work flexible retail schedules
• Ability to perform ear-piercing services (training and certification provided)
• At least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Beauty Sales Experience
• Current knowledge of beauty products and brands
• Strong passion for beauty
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $20.00 - $29.00 per hour. Actual pay will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
