Beauty Sales Consultant

Position Summary

We're looking for a passionate Beauty Sales Consultant to join our growing beauty retail division at CVS Health. You'll be a key beauty advisor, providing expert sales service and building strong relationships with our customers.

Customer Sales Experience

• Engage with customers to ensure a fantastic experience
• Listen to customer needs and provide tailored advice
• Use product knowledge to upsell and suggest additional purchases
• Follow up with customers to build lasting relationships

Operational

• Explain how products address customer needs
• Leverage CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships
• Participate in and represent company sales programs or events
• Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked beauty zone
• Execute sanitation, hazardous waste disposal, and tool cleaning policies

Training & Personal Growth and Development

• Complete initial onboarding training and ongoing educational programs
• Meet sales and service goals
• Attend sales training meetings and conference calls
• Compete with self to exceed sales goals
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques

Physical Requirements

• Stand and move throughout the store for most of the work time
• Perform duties requiring manual dexterity (e.g., ear piercing)
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and grasp objects

Qualifications

• Sales-oriented
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Goal-driven, able to multi-task
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to work flexible schedules
• Willingness to perform ear-piercing services (training and certification provided)
• At least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Beauty Sales Experience
• Current knowledge of beauty products and brands
• Strong passion for beauty
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
