Beauty Sales Consultant

Position Summary

We're building a world of health around every individual, and we're looking for a passionate Beauty Sales Consultant to join our team. As a retailer with over 9,000 stores, we're dedicated to providing a top-notch client experience. You'll be the primary beauty advisor, sharing the latest trends and techniques while building personalized baskets for each customer.

Customer Sales Experience

• Seek out customers to ensure they have a fantastic experience
• Engage in conversations to stimulate a different thought process
• Provide specialized sales advice based on customer needs
• Use product knowledge to answer customer questions and close the sale
• Participate in and represent company sales programs or events
• Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked beauty zone

Operational

• Explain how various products help customers address their needs
• Leverage the CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships
• Discuss CVS Beauty Club programs and invite customers to special events
• Execute the established sales plan and track progress towards goals
• Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls

Training & Personal Growth and Development

• Complete initial 30/60/90-day onboarding training
• Attend ongoing training and educational programs
• Stay updated on sales, product knowledge, and selling skills
• Seek to further product knowledge and client service skills

Physical Requirements

• Stand and/or move throughout the store for the majority of work time
• Perform duties requiring manual dexterity (e.g., ear piercing)
• Stoop, kneel, or crouch, and reach or grasp objects

Required Qualifications

• Sales oriented
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Goal-driven, able to multi-task
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to work a flexible retail schedule
• Willingness to perform ear-piercing services (training and certification provided)
• At least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Beauty Sales Experience
• Current knowledge of beauty products and brands
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
