Beauty Sales Consultant

Position Summary

We're seeking a passionate, sales-oriented Beauty Sales Consultant to join our growing beauty retail division at CVS Health. You'll be a key beauty advisor to our customers, providing personalized sales service and building strong, lasting relationships.

Customer Sales Experience

• Engage in conversations with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored advice.
• Use product knowledge to answer customer questions and suggest products that meet their needs.
• Participate in and represent company sales programs or events to enhance business performance.
• Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials to support key brands and initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked beauty zone, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Ensure compliance with CVS tester sanitation, hazardous waste disposal, and tool cleansing policies.

Operational

• Explain how various products can help customers address their needs through detailed product knowledge.
• Leverage the CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships with customers.
• Perform ear-piercing services as required, with training and certification provided.

Training & Personal Growth and Development

• Complete initial 30/60/90-day onboarding training and participate in ongoing educational programs.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and track progress towards success.
• Attend sales training meetings and conference calls to stay updated on programs, promotions, and new items.
• Compete with yourself to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Maintain a professional appearance and be plugged in to the latest beauty trends and techniques.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and move throughout the store for most of the work time to provide excellent customer service and beauty consulting.
• Perform duties requiring manual dexterity, such as ear piercing.

Qualifications

• Sales-oriented
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Goal-driven and able to multi-task
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Available to work flexible retail schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours, and "Peak" Hours
• Ability to perform ear-piercing services (training and certification provided)
• At least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Beauty Sales Experience
• Current knowledge of beauty products and brands
• Strong passion for beauty

The typical pay range for this role is $18.00 - $27.00 per hour.
