About the role

The Nordstrom Beauty Department seeks to enhance customers' confidence and beauty through personalized experiences. As a Beauty Counter Manager, you will play a dual role, combining sales and education to drive sales and build a loyal customer base.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations based on customer needs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming and inclusive store environment
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales targets using in-store and digital tools
• Manage vendor events and promotions, fostering strong relationships with brands
• Stay updated on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training
• Ensure the department is always ready for customers with organized and clean spaces
• Own the Nordstrom Rewards program to build customer loyalty

Requirements

• Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to connect with customers and handle concerns professionally
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Drive to achieve sales goals and use technology effectively
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a sales or customer service role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Pay
