Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations based on customer needs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming and inclusive store environment
• Set and achieve sales goals using in-store and digital tools such as text and social media
• Manage vendor events and promotions, maintaining strong relationships with luxury brands
• Keep the department organized and customer-ready through regular cleaning and maintenance
• Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training programs
• Own the Nordstrom Rewards program to build customer loyalty and drive sales

Requirements

• Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to connect with customers and handle concerns professionally
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Ownership, accountability, and initiative in managing the beauty counter

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a retail or beauty setting preferred
• Knowledge of beauty products and trends
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Pay

The pay range for this role is $23.20 - $24.10 hourly, with commission varying based on the merchandise sold. Nordstrom also offers performance-based incentives and bonuses.
