Beauty Concierge - Towne Place at Garden State Park Rack

About the role

The ideal Rack Beauty Concierge enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. A day in the life includes sharing your love of beauty trends and product knowledge with customers, keeping the customer experience quick, easy, and fun while helping them uncover great deals. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean sales floor, completing inventory processes, accurately ticketing merchandise, defusing customer situations, and working with the team to keep the sales floor ready through re-merchandising, filling testers, and straightening throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Share your love of beauty trends and provide detailed product knowledge to customers
• Deliver a quick, easy, and fun customer experience while helping them find great deals
• Maintain a clean and fully stocked sales floor
• Complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
• Defuse customer situations and provide timely, effective resolutions
• Work with the team to keep the sales floor ready through re-merchandising, filling testers, and straightening

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting these items above the head
• Regular lifting of items up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Pay

The pay range varies by location and is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Commission for selling employees varies by merchandise category: apparel, shoes, and accessories typically range from 3% to 14.5%, while Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive a 3% commission.
