Beauty Advisor - MAC, Southshore - Part Time

About the Role

As a Cosmetic Sales Colleague - also known as a Beauty Advisor - you are the trusted expert our customers turn to for all things beauty. Passionate about both products and people, you play a key role in creating a personalized and inspiring shopping experience that builds confidence and drives sales. You’ll serve as both an educator and a beauty expert, offering expert advice, conducting product demonstrations, and providing tailored consultations that may include makeup application and skincare recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting client relationships through consistent follow-up, virtual outreach, and personalized service.
• Introduce customers to new products and innovations that match their unique needs and style.
• Maintain a shoppable space by keeping the counter and sales floor organized, refreshing signage and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves.
• Promote the Loyalty program and open credit accounts to drive sales and client loyalty.
• Use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience.
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.

Qualifications

• Deep product knowledge and ability to stay current on beauty trends.
• Strong relationship-building skills to create personalized beauty experiences.
• Proficiency in using clienteling tools and participating in sales events.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for at least two consecutive hours.
• Lifting at least 25 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Reaching, including above eye level.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
