Responsibilities

• Provide haircuts, shampoos, styling, and other grooming services to residents.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of salon equipment and work areas.
• Build trusting relationships with residents through friendly, respectful, and compassionate service.
• Schedule and manage resident appointments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided.
• Follow all applicable health, safety, sanitation, and facility guidelines.
• Provide a welcoming salon experience that promotes resident dignity, comfort, and well-being.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license required in the state of Virginia.
• Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
• Friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while providing professional and personalized service.
