Position Overview: The Beautician/Cosmetologist will provide high quality, personalized salon services to our residents in our comfortable, on-site salon. You will assist residents in feeling their best while building meaningful relationships in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide haircuts, styling, shampooing and grooming services to residents.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of salon equipment and spaceSchedule appointments and manage service recordsCommunicate with nursing staff to coordinate resident careUphold infection control and safety standardsFoster a friendly, respectful, and comforting environment Qualifications: Valid state cosmetology licensePrior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and with compassionFamiliarity with infection control procedures #MCare
