DUTIES: Maintains equipment and parlor in a clean and tidy manner on a daily basis Styles hair consistent with residents’ request and preference Supplies chemicals to achieve permanents, relaxers, and color in a continuously competent manner Promotes a friendly and positive atmosphere in the delivery of beauty parlor services Preserves safe environment for residents and staff in the Beauty Shop Has knowledge of chemicals and processes used in the service Identifies and responds in a timely and sensitive manner to the needs of the residents receiving beauty services Maintains beauty parlor log for residents being serviced REQUIREMENTS: Licensed by the State of NY in cosmetologyProof of Liability InsuranceComplete a medical clearanceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrior experience as a beautician or barberPrior experience in a healthcare facility preferred About Us: Warren Center is an eighty-bed skilled nursing facility located at 42 Gurney Lane. Our facility provides a wide spectrum of nursing care to the residents of Warren County. We provide short-term rehabilitation services to people who cannot immediately return to their homes because of an accident or illness. We also provide long-term care for individuals who are unable to care for themselves. We look at each person from an individual perspective. We then utilize a team approach working with the residents and their families to develop a unique plan of care to meet their needs.
