Beaumont Sanitation
Daily Duties
- Remove product residue from all process lines
- Clean parts and equipment following written standard sanitation operating procedures (SSOP)
- Insure that all equipment is clean and dry at start of production
- Perform ATP or biological testing; enter results in log book
- Maintain chemical usage logs
- Clean exterior areas of plant (weeds, debris, dock plates, etc)
- Do any clean-up necessary
- Keep up with the master sanitation list
Safety Responsibilities
- Understanding of written electrical Lock Out Tag Out program
- Wear hearing protection and eyewear protection in all areas of the plant
- Wearing proper PPE
- Use of LOTO procedures
- Chemical safety training
- Follow all common employee safety practices
- Report any unsafe conditions for correction
- Understanding of SDS program, and safe chemical handling
Food Safety Responsibilities
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Basic understanding of HACCP and Allergen programs
- Follow all food safety regulations
- Understanding of the AIB Audit process
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
