About the role

Beau Clowney Architects, located in downtown Charleston, SC, is searching for an experienced project architect to join their team. They strive to provide thoughtful and sensible designs on a variety of projects located throughout the region and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Work on all aspects of multiple design projects in a collaborative studio environment
• Provide innovative and unique solutions while creating timeless design
• Engage in owner meetings, discussions, and review board presentations
• Conceptualize and efficiently produce a thorough set of construction documents
• Manage/mentor other architects and designers

Requirements

• An eye for detail
• An understanding of the construction documentation process
• Proficiency in computer drawing/modeling programs (Vectorworks preferred)
• Collaborative skills and multi-tasking abilities

Qualifications

• Accredited degree (BS in Architecture, B.Arch or M.Arch)
• Professional architectural licensure is an asset

Skills

• Knowledge of building systems, details, and coordination of outside consultants
