About the role

The successful applicant will be part of a team of two, responsible for managing a grouse moor with a focus on shooting grouse over pointers. Additional duties include accompanying estate guests for red deer stalking and salmon fishing during Summer/Autumn months.

Responsibilities

• Manage a grouse moor focusing on shooting grouse over pointers
• Accompany estate guests for red deer stalking and salmon fishing during Summer/Autumn months
• Train and handle gundogs to an acceptable standard
• Show a personable manner and willingness to learn new skills under the direction of the Head Keeper
• Learn the use of estate machinery and tasks required for general estate maintenance

Requirements

• A driving licence
• Both shotgun and firearms certificates

Salary

Salary is commensurate with experience.
