About the role
The Beach Club General Manager oversees the pool and beach areas at Mauna Lani, a luxurious resort on the Island of Hawaii. Key responsibilities include ensuring safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction, developing operational procedures, managing budgets, leading teams, and coordinating beach club activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor frontline and management staff.
- Implement and monitor pool and beachside services, including food and beverage offerings.
- Coordinate and execute Beach Club Activities and related Food and Beverage offerings or activations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing extensive pool and beach operations.
- CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- Blue Card certification.
- Food Handling Safety Certification.
- Extensive beverage knowledge in wines and spirits required.
- Prefer over 3 years working for a luxury brand hotel.
- 3+ years working in a food and beverage operation.
Qualifications
- Education: Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing extensive pool and beach operations.
