Beach Club General Manager

About the role

The Beach Club General Manager oversees the pool and beach areas at Mauna Lani, a luxurious resort on the Island of Hawaii. Key responsibilities include ensuring safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction, developing operational procedures, managing budgets, leading teams, and coordinating beach club activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor frontline and management staff.
• Implement and monitor pool and beachside services, including food and beverage offerings.
• Coordinate and execute Beach Club Activities and related Food and Beverage offerings or activations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing extensive pool and beach operations.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Blue Card certification.
• Food Handling Safety Certification.
• Extensive beverage knowledge in wines and spirits required.
• Prefer over 3 years working for a luxury brand hotel.
• 3+ years working in a food and beverage operation.

Qualifications

• Education: Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing extensive pool and beach operations.
