Responsibilities
- Ensure beach areas are set up to company and property standards, on a daily basis.
- Proactively enhance the beach.
- Welcome and greet residents and assist with lounge covers, towels, and umbrellas.
- Ensure proper use of amenities like water, cold towels, ice buckets, sunscreen, etc.
- Maintain compliance with Association Rules and Regulations.
- Report any malfunctions or equipment needing maintenance immediately to the Supervisor.
- Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain beach equipment.
- Remove dirty towels and trash.
- Complete daily checklists.
Work Environment
- Outdoors, in a beach and pool environment with moderate noise level.
Physical Demands
- Sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less.
- Manual dexterity required.
- Auditory and visual skills necessary.
- Follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
- Long periods of standing and walking.
- Working outdoors.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Days and hours will be determined by the property. The schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the property.
Required Education And Experience
- Prior experience in a related position; experience at a luxury property or hotel is strongly preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- The ability to work in a busy, luxury, and fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate well with various team members in other departments.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and residents/guests.
- Convey a positive and "can-do" attitude at all times, including during high-stressful times.
- Organize and prioritize tasks and follow oral and written instructions.
