BDC Client Care Specialist (Customer Service)
About the role
Are you a people person who thrives on helping customers, staying organized, and keeping things running smoothly? Carlock Automotive Group is looking for a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our Service team.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound service calls with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Build strong relationships with customers and create a positive first impression
- Identify customer needs and schedule service appointments efficiently
- Make outbound calls to existing customers to support retention and appointment setting
- Help address customer questions before their appointment, including timing, estimated costs, and general service concerns
- Confirm upcoming appointments and help ensure customers are prepared for their visit
- Work closely with the BDC Director, Service Advisors, Service Managers, and support staff to deliver a smooth customer experience
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience required; call center or appointment-setting experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Good follow-up habits and attention to detail
- Problem-solving ability and a customer-first mindset
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple conversations and responsibilities at once
Schedule
Department hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Saturday availability is required. Off on major holidays.
