About the role

Bcore is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a key government customer. The position involves designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure, including web applications, network infrastructure, and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack applications using HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, Java Spring, APIs, microservices, and AWS cloud services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met and deliverables are completed on time.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and performance.
• Participate in agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in full-stack development and cloud technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 16 years of relevant experience in full-stack development.
• Expertise in front-end development with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS.
• Experience with back-end development using Java Spring, APIs, microservices.
• Hands-on experience with database management, including RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with testing and debugging using testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience with DevOps tools and software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working in a SecDevOps Agile environment.
• Knowledge of migrating Ruby on Rails to Java.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IOC) and cloud design principles.
• Understanding of SecDevOps and its applications.

Pay

The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is INSERT-THE-RANGE. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

Schedule

This is a full-time position located in Herndon, VA.
