About the role

Boston Consulting Group is seeking a Senior AI Tech Architect to lead technical transformation efforts in the US Public Sector. This role is part of BCG Platinion, which focuses on digital excellence for clients through sustained solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop leading IT concepts and architectural solutions.
  • Apply technical expertise to enable organizations to transform their IT capabilities.
  • Work on projects involving mergers and acquisitions, restructuring IT processes, and optimizing application development.
  • Manage IT implementation projects, evaluate products, and assess quality assurance.
  • Communicate complex technology topics to senior executives and build consensus with clients.
  • Drive innovation, foster a growth mindset, and assist with business development through proposal writing and project scoping.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship and/or active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Expertise in various technology stacks, cloud native applications, integration methodologies, and data analytics architecture.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps tooling.
  • Proven experience with Gen AI tools like ChatGPT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, business management, or system controls & engineering.
  • Master's degree in related fields preferred.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 1 year in architecture discipline.

Pay

The first year base compensation for this role is $150,000 in USD. Additionally, there is an annual discretionary performance bonus and participation in BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF).

Schedule

This role may involve significant travel to client sites, with the amount of travel depending on client needs and project requirements.
