About the role
At NeurAbilities Healthcare, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Full-Time Behavior Specialist Consultant (BSC) is responsible for conducting behavior assessments and developing individualized intervention plans to correct, maintain, or improve certain behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing behavioral assessments (including Functional Behavior Assessments) and skills assessments
- Write comprehensive initial and ongoing behavior and skills assessment reports, treatment plans, and clinical documentation in line with BACB, insurance, and organizational standards
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and ABA therapy programs, while monitoring progress through supervision, data analysis and caregiver input
- Provide consultation, training, and supervision to parents, school personnel, and therapeutic support staff, maintaining BACB supervision standards
- Provide field supervision of Registered Behavior / ABA Therapists in accordance with BACB standards
Requirements
- Board certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA, BCBA-D)
- Behavior Specialist/BCBA License for assigned state(s)
- 1+ years of professional experience as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working with clients with ASD
- Experience using ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland and QABF, MAS, FAST and Functional Behavior Assessments
- Maintain CEU requirement and BCBA credential with Behavior Analytic Certification Board (BACB)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- Current BCBA license in the state of practice
- Experience in ABA therapy and behavior intervention planning
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of ethical and legal standards in ABA
