BCBA Mental Health Specialty Flex

About the role

The Edinburg Center is seeking a BCBA for its Mental Health Specialty Flex Team. This role requires experience in conducting functional behavior assessments and designing positive behavior support plans, along with experience working with youth 21 years and under with mental health challenges other than autism.

Responsibilities

• Use ABA principles to support youth experiencing mental health challenges and their families.
• Provide parent coaching, develop FBA and BSPs, and participate in family therapy.
• Collaborate with a BCBA and LICSW for supervision and understanding of mental health complexities.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings with mental health clinicians, therapists, and peers.
• Work independently and as part of a team, handling independent tasks and participating in group activities.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior support plans.
• Experience working with youth 21 years and under with mental health challenges other than autism.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
• Team player attitude.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Experience in mental health settings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with the intersection of mental health and behavior.

Skills

Pay

$81,369.60 per year.
