BCBA- IDD/Autism School

About the role

Award-winning Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) is seeking a BCBA to join our growing team. This is a 12-month position specializing in evidence-based behavior change for students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance to educational staff, administrators, behaviorists, students and parents in the areas of behavior change using Applied Behavior Analysis and addressing challenging behaviors of students attending Devereux schools.
• Provide individual and group trainings; conduct and support functional behavior assessments and analyses; develop positive behavior support plans; ensure fidelity of implementation of behavior plans.
• Advise behaviorists, teachers and administrators regarding best practices and regulations.
• Work as a collaborative consultant with school and agency personnel; provides expertise regarding behavior modification in complex cases; participates in IEP meetings; and becomes a member of the PDE behavior intervention committee.
• Provide services and documents that are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations for school based services.

Qualifications

• Education: Masters’ or Doctoral degree in psychology, special education or related field.
• Experience: Prior experience working with students with special needs. Prior experience writing FBAs, BSPs.

• BCBA annual compensation of $85,000-$96,900 (dependent upon experience).
• $2,000 sign on bonus for external applicants to be paid out over first 6 months.
